  • Send a group text to Reliant using an approved app (this is the recommended form of communication)

(For those in a HIGH threat level who may be using a satellite phone you can call or text message the International Crisis Manager directly by contacting Matt Elkins- 469-955-1099).


Note

If you are unsure of the level of severity or if you need an immediate response to an incident, you can always call the international crisis hotline number to report a crisis.

It is required that all international field team members add the contact number (850-RELIANT) for the Reliant international crisis hotline to their phone as well as memorize the Reliant international crisis hotline number to be able to use in the case of an emergency.  (See Crisis Management Plan)

It is also a requirement that each international team create a group text using an approved app (such as WhatsApp or Signal) that includes team members as well as the International Crisis Manager (Matt Elkins) and the Field Operations Lead (Cori Crawford Van Oss) for security/crisis communication between Reliant and the field team members. This will allow the ability for team members and Reliant to receive group texts, record voice text messages, send pictures, etc. 

In the event of a crisis, remember to always follow your customized contingency plans (or find a generic Contingency Planning template that you can follow).
