If a donor mails an end-of-year check directly to you, you must save the envelope and send it in with the check. The December 2020 postmark on the envelope serves as proof that it is a 2020 donation. If a check is dated in 2020, but the postmark on the envelope is 2021, that will not count as a 2020 gift.

Please check your mailboxes early in the new year for these types of gifts and immediately send them to Reliant. They must be received by January 13, 20202021, to be included with 2020 gifts.

IMPORTANT - With the added volume of checks being processed at the end of the year, checks dated 2020 received past December 31st, 2020 that are NOT accompanied by a postmarked envelope will be processed as 2021.  Reliant will not contact the missionary regarding 2020 checks that are missing the 2020 post-marked envelope. This responsibility will rest with the missionary to understand the requirement of the 2020 post-marked envelope and include that when mailing the check to Reliant.
