| In the unfortunate event that an eligible employee becomes permanently disabled, Reliant provides financial assistance through a long-term disability insurance plan. Full-time employees are eligible for coverage. Part-time employees who average less than 30 hours per week are not eligible for this benefit. There is a 90-day waiting period before the benefit may begin once a disabling incident occurs. An employee must notify Employment Services (benefits@reliant.org) as soon as possible when they sustain an injury that may be disabling. Specific information about this coverage may be found in the employee's certificate of group insurance provided by the insurance carrier or by calling the insurance company directly. |
