Below is a sample acceptance and conditional acceptance email so that LT staff can see what LT participants are sent upon acceptance.
Congratulations! You have been accepted to xxxx Estes Park Collegiate Leadership Training!
Dear {{ applicant.first_name }} ,
Congratulations! It is our pleasure to notify you of your acceptance into the xxxx Estes Park Collegiate Leadership Training program sponsored by Collegiate Church Network and administered by our partner, Reliant!
You can begin preparing today for the summer of your life at Estes Park, Colorado. There you'll be joined by about 100 other college students from several campuses, all eager to grow in their Christian lives, develop new friendships and have lots of fun!
Our hope and prayer is for your joy and progress in the faith (Philippians 1:25). With this in mind, we ask that you too would keep asking God to make it the summer of your life—one filled with spiritual growth and progress in your faith. Prepare to take part in a dynamic program designed to help ground you in Christian doctrine, lay a firm foundation of character and develop a set of practical skills to make you more effective and fruitful in your personal and social life.
Remember, although you have been accepted into the LT program you must also secure a job with the YMCA of the Rockies to be able to attend the LT program. Review the How to Fill Out the YMCA Application Without Mistakes for helpful hints on how to apply for a job with the YMCA.
We have put together an orientation packet to help you make final preparations for the summer. You can view the orientation packet here.
If you elected to raise personal support, you may begin today. The support raising guidelines can be downloaded here. Make sure you start saving up for your program deposit and initial payment.
In the next few days you will receive an email asking you to sign the LT COVID POLICIES AGREEMENT. We ask that you sign this before paying your program deposit.
We must receive your program deposit no later than April 30. If you miss the program deposit deadline, you may be placed on a waiting list. If you think you will have a problem making this deadline or if you have any issues with the payment, please e-mail register@reliant.org.
To make your program deposit and remaining fee payments please follow these steps below:
1) You will need to go to events.reliant.org and create a username and password. (This is a separate system from the assessment so you will need to create a new account instead of using the one you used to apply.)
2) Once you have created the username and password for events.reliant.org, you can use this direct link to log in and make your payment(s) for the Estes Park LT program. Estes Park Collegiate LT 2021 Registration Payment.
Please pray with us, asking God to make this the most life-changing summer you've ever experienced and one that will affect the whole course of your life! If you have any specific Estes Park LT questions, please contact us.
Expecting great things,

Congratulations! It is our pleasure to notify you of your conditional acceptance into the xxxx Estes Park Collegiate Leadership Training program sponsored by Collegiate Church Network and administered by our partner, Reliant!
We appreciate the fact that you were open and even willing to meet and discuss your assessment answers with your local pastor or spiritual reference. We are thankful that you have expressed your commitment to growing in the areas outlined as concerns (fill in with the general idea of concern- sexual activity, underage drinking, drug usage, pornography, eating disorder, depression, anxiety, self-harm, suicidal thoughts) on your LT application. (Add this if they did a counselor review: We also appreciate the fact that you were willing to meet with a counselor as well.) Leadership Training can challenge individuals physically, spiritually and emotionally. Also, for those that are already struggling in certain areas, LT can be a challenge to not revert back to old habits or areas of weakness during the program. We hope that this summer helps you find growth in these areas of concern.
Therefore, we want to inform you that Reliant is conditionally accepting you into the LT program with full knowledge of these concerns. Conditional acceptance means that Reliant reserves the right to continue to monitor your situation, make suggestions, and even make recommendations for medical attention or professional counseling if necessary. Our condition for acceptance is that you.... meet with an LT staff member/volunteer that your LT director (Alan Hable or Carl Frost) assigns for the summer as often as he deems necessary.
In addition, we need you to know that while at LT if your LT director feels that you are not displaying the character outlined in the LT policies or they see continued struggle in the areas of concern, then Reliant in agreement with the LT director reserves the right to remove you from the LT program.
We encourage you to please ask for help and accountability this summer in your areas of concern. Please be open with your friends, Reliant missionaries attending the program with you, and your LT program leaders. If you have any questions along the way please don’t hesitate to ask.
Below are instructions from the LT Directors on next steps. We pray that you will see God do amazing things in your life this summer.
