If your church wishes to continue employing an intern or resident by transitioning them into a career field staff role, follow these steps:
- Application Process - Determine if a new application is needed. If so, the worker can complete a Refresh Application — a streamlined process for those employed by Reliant within the past three years who are transitioning into a career field staff role or moving from one church/ministry to another.
- Hiring Decision Call - Schedule a Hiring Decision Call to discuss key details such as salary, staff level, and other employment considerations.
- MTD Training - Decide whether the worker should attend a full MTD Training or complete the self-paced "Becoming a Career Missionary" LEARN course as part of their transition.
