Language on how to offer vs ask

Asking sounds like “I need xyz. Will you give?”

Offering an opportunity to give sounds more like, “This is what’s happening. Here’s where the Lord is moving. Come and join us! There are a number of emerging projects with opportunities to give. I think there are a few you would be interested in. Can we set up a time for me to present them to you?

Or - I’d love to show you what opportunities there are to sow into new (or to give toward these) projects.”
