Q: Can multiple Reliant missionaries submit reimbursements out of a ministry project fund?

A: Yes! Each reimbursement just needs to have the approval of an authorized fund signer before the request is shared with the Reimbursements team. See Project Fund Reimbursements for additional information.

Q: The ministry project fund receives regular monthly giving, and we would like to use that to support the ministries our missionaries employed by Reliant. Is that possible?

A: Yes! Reliant can set up a monthly MTD missionary account subsidy to be transferred out of the ministry project fund each month. The amount requested as the MTD subsidy support should be based on recurring donations coming into the ministry project fund, and align with the amount for the MTD subsidy for each missionary account consistent for at least a calendar year. An authorized fund signer complete and submit a transfer request form located on Transferring Funds to Another Project or Field Staff Account. If the authorized fund signer is one whose MTD account will benefit from the monthly subsidy, a 2nd approval from a church/ministry leader is required.

Q: How do we get money out of the ministry project fund?

A: Reliant is unable to simply forward the balance in a ministry project fund to a church or ministry without reason. See What is a Church/Project Fund? for a brief overview on how the balance in a project fund can be used. Specific questions about using the fund balance may be directed to projectfundraising@reliant.org. 

Q: Our ministry has changed its name. How can I update the name of the ministry project fund?

A: Simply send an email with the request to projectfundraising@reliant.org. Your request should include the fund number and the current name assigned, the desired new name, and a brief reason for changing the fund name.

Q: I want to be an Affiliated Project Fundraiser with Reliant. Can the title of the ministry project fund include my name?

A: No, a ministry project fund can only be in the name of a ministry or church that has partnered with Reliant. Affiliated Project Fundraisers raise funds on behalf of a ministry project, even though those funds may possibly be used as ministry salary support for the Affiliated Project Fundraiser. However, there can be an URL alias created for the online giving page of the ministry project fund that has the Affiliated Project Fundraiser's name in it.

Q: How can I update the ministry project fund's giving page on reliant.org?

A: Unfortunately at this time, project fund overseers are unable to make edits to giving pages themselves. To request any changes, please send your request to projectfundraising@reliant.org and we would be glad to assist you.
