Your monthly support goal is the amount of recurring giving that you need to raise each month in order to fund every aspect of your ministry (including your personal salary).
We use the International Support Goal Worksheet to calculate three key areas. Click on each category for a deeper explanation of each Tab.
| Monthly Salary Tab | This is the amount that you will receive on your paycheck each month, prior to taxes and 401k contributions. |
| Monthly Ministry Expenses Tab | These are expenses that are related to the ministry you are doing. They will not be part of your salary, but you can receive the funds through reimbursements or bonuses as expenses occur. |
| Support Goal Summary Tab | This tab calculates additional expenses from the MTD account, including some employer taxes, 401k match, benefits, and admin fees. These amounts are drawn directly from the account you are responsible. |
Note: The Support Goal Worksheet will also help you to identify one-time goals, either pre-launch or annually, in order to make sure that the account for which you are responsible has sufficient funds to cover your expenses. These tabs do not factor into your monthly support goal.
