All personnel who are directly involved with a crisis must receive an evaluation from a qualified Christian mental health professional following a level 5 crisis event.  These evaluations should occur as soon as possible following the resolution of the event.  The member care lead will coordinate care for all victims, immediate family members, and CMT members.

To protect our staff, these evaluations and any subsequent treatment will be kept confidential between the staff member and the mental health professional.

In general, costs associated with this policy shall be paid by the organization.  If the recommended treatment is covered by insurance, the limits will correspond to the insurance coverage.  If the recommended treatment is not covered by insurance the organization will cover the costs for up to six months.

We care about our people first.  We recognize that crises events can be tremendously stressful and traumatic events that can cause emotional, psychological, and spiritual wounds that take time to heal.  We also recognize that we as the organization can be a hinderance to the healing process, therefore, we emphasize confidentiality, while still paying for a reasonable amount of services.  Due to our organizational beliefs and the intensely spiritual nature of our work, we mandate that all mental health professionals be trained, qualified Christian counselors.
