The intention of this policy is to ensure that, in case of a crisis, all first responder and support teams can efficiently access Reliant team members and assets. Experience shows that having specific information regarding business and team member locations allows for confidence and specificity during various crises such as natural disasters, terrorist activity, etc. Because Reliant values its team members, we want to make available all possible resources to first responders and support teams. |
All international team members will provide annual location documentation. What is required is based on risk level location.
Basic Risk Level Location:
- Team members will send an annual update with GPS permanent international residence coordinates. If team members move, they are responsible for updating Reliant with GPS for changes of location
Moderate Risk Level Location
- Team members will send an annual update with GPS permanent international residence coordinates. If team members move, they are responsible for updating Reliant with GPS for changes of location
- Team appointed Crisis Manager should notify Reliant of GPS coordinates for team meeting locations as well as other places where the team gathers.
High Risk Level Location
- Team members will send an annual update for GPS permanent international residence coordinates. If team members move, they are responsible for updating Reliant with GPS for changes of location
- Team members are also required to provide GPS for at least 3 frequented locations. (Where you are normally doing ministry, kids school, anywhere you go to on a regular basis. This is due to the fact that threats could be played out in a typical travel pattern)
- Team appointed Crisis Manager should notify Reliant of GPS coordinates for team meeting locations
- Team appointed Crisis Manager should notify Reliant of GPS coordinates for other places where the team or members of the team frequently gather
It is the policy of Reliant to keep a secure file accessible to the Reliant central ICMT with location-specific information. Whenever a physical location is chosen for the operations or housing Reliant's team members in a foreign country, the International Crisis Manager and Team Leader will document the location’s specific GPS coordinates and surrounding area.
