All Reliant staff are dedicated to furthering the Gospel and are committed to upholding the highest standards of ethical and professional behavior. Nevertheless, it is necessary on a regular basis to remind ourselves of how we should ensure that all individuals (staff, volunteers, and those to whom we minister) are treated with honor, respect, and dignity as image bearers of God.
For this reason, all Reliant staff will complete annual training courses on sexual harassment prevention and child abuse awareness.


Overview of Required Courses
All courses are web-based, include quizzes, and do not need to be completed in one session. For most staff, the training will take about 3 hours. For staff in supervisory roles, the training will take about 5 hours and will include an additional course on screening staff and volunteers. - Training videos are designed to be completed at each trainee’s pace. You may close the page entirely and return to the point you previously paused. However, the MinistrySafe system does not save the point that you last completed. Before closing the page, please make note of your ‘spot’ (example: Section 4, 15:45). To return to the training, you'll need the unique link that was emailed to you.
- MinistrySafe will track completion of each course and notify Reliant.

- You will receive an email with instructions on how to set your password.
- After creating a password, you can return to the courses via the Telios Teaches Site.

- Training videos are designed to be completed at each trainee’s pace. You may close the page entirely and return to the point you previously paused. To return to the training, log back into the Telio Teaches Site with your Reliant email address and password. Select the training you need to complete, and it will return you to your previous spot in the course.

Associated Policies & Information
Each of our training courses required are associated with one of the following Reliant Policies.
Timeframe for Completion
| New Hires | Will be assigned the training during onboarding and will have 30 days to complete the courses. |

Exception Requests
Staff can submit an Exception Request for extenuating circumstances by emailing HR Compliance Officer (Julie Thomas - julie.thomas@reliant.org) and copying Program Team (if applicable) and Supervisor. The Exception Request should include a detailed explanation of the reason for the request.
