What Reliant Does
For those employed under the Legal Entity, we do not want your affiliation with Reliant to be accessible on the internet. The precautions we take are:
- We do not use your full name in the URL or on the Header of the page. We will use a version of your initials.
- Your giving link is not searchable on Reliant's search function. Donors need a direct link to access it.
Even though it's a hidden link on Reliant’s website, it is still on the internet and could get be searched or hacked through an alternate search engine.
What You can Do
1.) Let the International Team know that you would like a Secure giving page. Even if you are not on the Legal Entity, it may still be important to protect your identity online.
2.) Don't use your FULL NAME.
Here is a great example of how to talk about your ministry without using your name at all.
3.) Don't refer to your exact CITY or COUNTRY.
Use regional language to talk about the part of the world where you serve. Remember, a recognizable landmark in a photo may also give you away!
4.) Don't use a photo of your FACE.
Get creative! Consider blurring your face, taking a shot of the back of your head, or using a different graphic entirely!
