  1. Use this for professional communication such as visa applications, business cards, and professional connections with nationals.
  2. Do not use this email to ask general questions to Reliant Central. The only times you'd really use the @legalentity.global with Reliant Central is for employment-related paperwork, questions about the legal entity, and receiving paystubs and W2's. If you are not sure which email to use, just make sure you are sending to the same domain that you are sending from. So, if you are sending from @reliant.org only send to @reliant.org. If you are sending from @legalentity.global only send to @legalentity.global.
  3. Reliant Central will continue to send emails from a @reliant.org email to your @reliant.org email. They will NOT send emails to the @legalentity@legalentityname.global account from a @reliant.org account. If they are sending to @legalentity.global they will use an @legalentity@legalentityname.global.
  4. You can utilize Protonmail with Apple Mail, Outlook, or other desktop-based applications. You will need to download the Protonmail Bridge to accomplish this. Keep in mind, this creates some security concern as those emails are on your hard drive, but this is permissible. Safest way would be to only use a web browser.

For updates we recommend that you do not use the @legalentity@legalentityname.global email. Our goal is to keep the @legalentitythe @legalentityname.global email completely separate from anything Reliant (like your giving link) or ministry activities. This is best to come from a an existing personal email with a generic domain name. name or if you want to take it up a notch get yourself an @protonmail.com email address. This give the added benefit of being able to communicate securely with other protonmail accounts.

Additionally, for emailing other M's not with the legal entity, or your friends and family, we recommend using a an existing generic personal address with a generic domain name. If you want to take or taking it up a notch , get yourself a protonmail account as this will allow you to communicate securely with other protonmail accounts and give the highest level of security.

Existing Team Email

Some of you may have a team email and likely all of you have a personal email. Feel free to utilize your personal email for emails to friends and family. Keep in mind that any email outside protonmail to protonmail will have some risk. So be careful with language. If you have a team email that is Google based, that you use for Google docs, this is fine to continue to use. We recommend only using it with a VPN and on a web browser. Please continue to use this as your supervisor instructs. If you utilize this for Google docs, just be sure to do that on a VPN and a web browser that you can log off of. Do not use the Google Drive Desktop application. Follow the guidelines of the team that you are a part of in using utilizing this email address.

Ok, that's a lot! Here's a chart to outline this. Keep in mind this assumes on a VPN and on a Web Browser.
