Your current Reliant email will continue to operate the same as before; this email address will be utilized for Reliant communication. For greater security we are asking that you:

  1. Continue to check this email on a regular basis, since it will be the primary way we communicate with you.
  2. Log in to your VPN before jumping on the web browser.
  3. Only log in to Reliant.org through a web browser. DO NOT utilize Apple Mail, Outlook, or any other desktop application for this email. 
    • when logging in to Reliant's websites, use a private browsing window (incognito mode)
    • when logging in to Reliant provisioned third-party websites (e.g. gmail, outlook), make sure you sign out when done
  4. Only use this email for contacting Reliant Central staff. No one else. If you're sending to @reliant.org, use your @reliant.org email.  If Central Reliant is sending an email to an international worker, they send from @from @reliant.org and to their @reliant.org.
  5. Do not use the name of the Legal entity when using your @reliant.org email. If you need to reference it, please say "legal entity".
  6. You will continue to use this email for submitting reimbursements.

Some basic rules to follow with your @legalentity.global email would be:

  1. You can use Use this for professional communication like with such as visa applications, put it on a business cardcards, and professional connections with nationals, visa applications, etc. 
  2. Whenever you contact Reliant Central, send that email to the same domain that you are sending from. So, if it's from @reliant.org only send to @reliant.org. If it's from @legalentity.global send only to @legalentity.global.
  3. Do not use this email to ask general questions to Reliant CentralGenerally speaking you will continue to utilize your @reliant.org to send to @reliant.org for most Reliant communication. The only times you'd really use the @legalentity.global to send t or receive from @legalentity.global with Reliant Central is for employment-related paperwork, questions about the legal entity, and receiving paystubs and W2's. And if If you 're are not sure , just use one of the channels and we'll sort it out on our end. which email to use, just make sure you are sending to the same domain that you are sending from. So, if you are sending from @reliant.org only send to @reliant.org. If you are sending from @legalentity.global only send to @legalentity.global.
  4. Reliant Central will continue to send emails from a @reliant.org email to your @reliant.org email. They will NOT send emails to the @legalentity.global account from a @reliant.org account. If they are sending to @legalentity.global they will use an @legalentity.global. 
  5. You can utilize Protonmail with Apple Mail, Outlook, or other desktop-based applications. You will need to download the Protonmail Bridge to accomplish this. Keep in mind, this creates some security concern as those emails are on your hard drive, but this is permissible. Safest way would be to only use a web browser.

For updates we recommend that you do not use the @legalentity.global email. Our goal is to keep the @legalentity.global email completely separate from anything Reliant (like your giving link) or ministry activities. This is best to come from a personal email with a generic domain name. 

Additionally, for emailing other M's not with the legal entity, or your friends and family, we recommend using a personal address with a generic domain name. If you want to take it up a notch, get yourself a protonmail account as this will allow you to communicate securely with other protonmail accounts and give the highest level of security.
