• Secure the immediate safety of the victim
• As soon as you are able, begin documenting all events. Eventually, move all documentation to the Tracking Log created by Reliant and shared with you in the one-drive team crisis management plan folder. The Tracking log will allow you to continue to document details and will also serve as a way to communicate those new updates to all parties involved. If you have documented anything on paper, label it as CONFIDENTIAL and secure all documents from public view when not in use
• Establish initial contact with the International Crisis Manager using the International Crisis Hotline

• All non-threatened personnel lockdown in a team facility and confer with the CMT ICMT for instructions
• Specifically recommend to the victim that the incident be reported to local authorities, if possible
  • If the victim agrees, confidentially contact local law enforcement, if possible, taking any possible steps to protect the victim’s identity
  • If the victim refuses, respect their wishes, and make specific note of the refusal and the reasons behind the decision
• Specifically, recommend a medical examination for the victim for physical trauma and infectious disease
  • If the victim agrees, proceed to the nearest appropriate medical facility for an examination at the company’s expense

• Reliant will reach out to receive more details and complete an initial Crisis Report
• Arrange for timely, ongoing International Crisis Counseling
• If necessary activate a medical emergency Evacuation
• Submit all medical costs incurred on their behalf to the insurance company for reimbursement
• Follow all CMT ICMT directions and recommendations
