Steps to Reduce Probability and Consequences
- Avoid high threat locations and events
- Practice situational awareness (Color Codes for Situational Awareness) and communicate routinely with the team leader
- Continually monitor security threats

Crisis Resolution Protocol
Credible Threat
- When you have time, start the Tracking Log and begin documenting all events
- Determine the location and status of all personnel that might be affected
- Call the local authorities immediately
- As soon as you are able, begin documenting all events. Eventually, move all documentation to the Tracking Log created by Reliant and shared with you in the one-drive team crisis management plan folder. The Tracking log will allow you to continue to document details and will also serve as a way to communicate those new updates to all parties involved
- Contact Reliant to report the incident: Crisis Reporting for International Incident
- Reliant will reach out to receive more details and complete an initial Crisis Report
- Immediately relocate to a Places of Refuge and/or Evacuation depending on the threat
Bomb Discovered
- If you discover a bomb, slowly retreat while leaving the bomb undisturbed
- If you are already touching the bomb, place it in a secure location on a flat surface if possible
- Retreat to at least 600 yards away and call the local authorities immediately
- Wash your hands with soap and water if you made contact with the bomb in order to remove any potentially harmful substances
- Notify all other personnel to shelter-in-place as appropriate
- As soon as you are able, begin documenting all events. - Follow all CMT and local authority instructions
Detonation
- Attend to any immediate medical needs
- Determine the location and status of all personnel that might be affected by the detonation
- Determine accurate information regarding explosion damage
- Follow Shelter in Place protocols as appropriate
- As soon as you are able, begin documenting all events. Eventually, move all documentation to the Tracking Log created by Reliant and shared with you in the one-drive team crisis management plan folder. The Tracking log will allow you to continue to document details and will also serve as a way to communicate those new updates to all parties involved

- If the phones are unusable, attempt an alternative communication with personnel such as a satellite phone or emergency communication device
- If there are any missing persons, contact local law enforcement to report them and simultaneously follow the Contingency Planning: Missing Person
- Record any injuries with Reliant who will add victim information to the Crisis Report
- Follow all CMT instructions
