An Affiliate Fundraiser is a foreign national raising funds through a church/project fund on behalf of Reliant. Typically, the Affiliate Fundraiser will also be a Designated Grantee receiving Stipends. When the qualifications as outlined below are met, the Affiliate Fundraiser must attend a Reliant training and become an officially approved deputized fundraiser. Affiliated Project Fundraiser cannot be a U.S. citizen. U.S. citizens who want to raise funds for a ministry project fund should apply to be an associate Associate Staff with Reliant. |
An Affiliated Project Fundraiser (APF) is a foreign worker at an established Reliant partnership who can raise funds for the ministry's use. Because the worker is not eligible to be an employed missionary with Reliant, one of the most common ways for these ministries to use the funds is to support the worker financially.
Associate Staff are considered Reliant volunteers who have been approved to conduct ministry and raise donations on behalf of Reliant and to incur ministry expenses. Associate staff are not employees or independent contractors of Reliant. |

If Supporting the purpose of a project fund is to solely be salary support for an APF, the following documentation must be collected prior to the fund being created with Reliant:
- Partnership documentation with the ministry project
- A completed APF application with Reliant assessment
ministry work of the Affiliate Fundraiser and covering ministry expenses can be accomplished through Reliant stipend grants to the ministry partner.
Affiliate Fundraiser Application
Please reach out to your program team with contact information for the Affiliate Fundraiser and they will send the Affiliate Fundraiser a link to the application. They The APF will also be required to complete a version of Reliant's Ministry Team Development (MTD) fundraising training. Training MTD training will be arranged during the assessment phase of your application.
