The resident will have a section in Toolbox labeled, “MTD Reporting.” Here, the resident will have a few options to navigate (see below).

The first is the “dashboard” which provides basic information on the resident’s support raising:

This dashboard will provide most of the information that you and the resident will need in order to track the progress of MTD.

In this section, Toolbox will also provide detailed information on received gifts and promised gifts. This is a simple way to distinguish between the gifts that have arrived to the resident’s account and the gifts that have been promised to the resident. For example, if Hank has a partner sign up for $100 a month in August, that would be reported as $2,400 ($100 x number of months of residency) in promised giving. After the first gift in August, Toolbox would track that as $100 in received gifts and then $2,300 in promised gifts. However, residents can start receiving monthly gifts as soon as February, in which case Toolbox would know to multiply by the monthly gift by 30 months totaling $3000. So the earlier they begin the better All one-time gifts would be reported as received gifts once they arrive in the account.

If a promised gift does not come through one month, Toolbox will track this as a “suspended promised” gift and provide helpful information for the resident to follow up with the donor.

The last section in MTD Reporting is “donors.” For the resident’s convenience, all of their donors are listed here and they can be easily sorted under different variables. The donor’s contact information is here so your resident can email, call, or send a letter of gratitude. Contact information is easily exported to lists for group emails. If a donor has a suspended promised gift, that is listed in this section as well.

 

MTD Activity  

The next section is MTD Activity. Toolbox is bringing in a new era in tracking our MTD activity.  It's imperative to track MTD activity, so Toolbox has replaced both the MTD Timecard and the Weekly MTD Tracking chart with one tool: MTD Activity Tracking.  This is a daily tool that they will use to record connection attempts, appts set up, etc.  

In this section of Toolbox, the resident will be able to: 1. Track totals (summary), 2. Input data (entry form), and 3. View their MTD activity goals. Here are screenshots for how each of these look on Toolbox.

Summary:

Here, MTD Activity can be sorted daily, weekly, or monthly. Some of the things that are tracked are connection attempts by call, connection attempts by text, meetings, follow up calls, and MTD letters sent.
