A Pastor 1 tends to be responsible for the spiritual leadership and welfare of the church and its members either as the sole pastor or as a member of a leadership team. Provides leadership for and actively participates in worship, education, discipleship and evangelism for the spiritual life and growth of members. Responsible for financial accountability of the church whether solely or as a part of a leadership structure. May supervise staff or lead a significant ministry within the church as a member of an overall church leadership team. A missionary must be ordained to be a pastor The Pastor (1, 2, or 3) designation requires ordination, while Minister (1, 2, or 3) and Field Managers (1, 2, or 3) do not need to be ordained / commissioned.
Minister 1
A Minister 1 tends to have responsibility for the spiritual leadership and welfare of the church and its members as a member of the leadership team. Provides leadership for and actively participates in worship, education, discipleship and evangelism for the spiritual life and growth of members. May carry financial accountability of the church as part of a leadership structure. May supervise staff or lead a significant ministry within a church as a member of the overall leadership team. Typically Minister 1 is a female Reliant missionary who has been commissioned into a level of leadership similar to a Pastor in a church or ministry who does not ordain women.
