Field Director is designed for those who have been serving in ministry for 10 or more years, and are now overseeing a group of churches, pastors or ministries. These directors typically do not have day-to-day ministry roles, but are giving oversight to a larger ministry, network or denomination of churches.

This is typically for a student  missionary missionary in a period of preparation and training while both the individual and the organization consider a possible longer-term commitment. They are typically missionaries in a specific 3-4 month ministry internship program.

Missionary Intern 2 (

5 to 24 months)

This is for a missionary in a period of preparation and training while both the individual and the organization consider a long-term commitment. This can also be missionaries in a specific one- or two-year program.
