For LT 2017 Interns registration. Here are some important dates and info below!

All LT interns must go through Reliant whether they are raising support or simply volunteering their summer as an intern at LT. 

Interns may register at any time up until the deadline.  Application deadline for 2017 is Nov. 28th.

LT Fee Info

• LT Directors, be prepared to give Reliant the LT fee for interns during our Hiring Decision Call with you (by Dec 16). This fee is necessary to calculate their support goal. 
• LT interns do not pay for their LT fee directly. The Reliant summer intern program will do an internal transfer for their LT payment and they will only pay out of pocket if they have insufficient funds. See Staff and Intern Event Payments. 

LT interns do not also apply for LT online like the LT participant. The Reliant summer program coordinator will manually add them to the LT event along with the list of other LT staff. 

Volunteer LT Interns

Due to liability reasons, all LT interns (including those that do not wish to raise support) must go through our Reliant intern application. Volunteer interns who don't raise support will not be required to attend intern training. They will simply be applying to be considered a Volunteer LT intern. The application fee is $49. They will go through the same interview process as regular interns, receive a background check and will be added to Reliant's liability insurance. They will not be able to raise support in any way. Since they will not be attending Intern Training, the deadline for applying as a Volunteer LT intern (submitting all required materials for the documentation phase of their intern application) is 6 weeks prior to the date they will be arriving at LT.  However, once the intern submits their application we ask that the churches complete the local interview for the applicant within 2 weeks of the applicant submitting their documentation.
