Solomon is an improvement over how we have stored information on StaffNet in many ways. It works more like a Reliant-Wikipedia than a collection of manuals. As a missionary, you will be able to search for a topic and find both information and forms related to that topic all on the same page. It also means that here in the office, we can edit and update individual sections more easily and quickly, and we can create more pages that are each focused on a single topic and cross link topics and information across the entire Field Manual. This will mean better communication between our missionaries, supervisors, coaches and office team. The team at the office has done a tremendous job reviewing hundreds of pages found in this Field Manual. Our goal with Solomon is to use its ability to house the information on editable pages as a way to keep it very current. It is likely we have missed a few pages or have more changes or corrections to make in the coming weeks. On the On the home page you can see an activity feed of pages we are adding and updating.
