The missionary roles for which Reliant employs missionaries exist for the primary purpose of furthering the Great Commission. Therefore, the primary emphases of roles given will directly or indirectly support preaching the gospel, evangelism, teaching and discipling followers of Christ.
Such roles fall into the “ministerial exemption” in the category of Fair Labor Standards Act requirements.
The first responsibility of the missionary and partnering organization is to bring to Reliant ministry partners (donors) and donations to cover the expense of the missionary, including insurances, salary, reimburseable expenses, administrative fees and all related expenses.
