Event Liability Insurance 

We now have to buy individual liability insurance policies for each event administrated by Reliant. 

It is the responsibility of the special event coordinator to let Dave Meldrum-Green know the total number of people (close estimation is fine) attending each event (participants and staff) and the dates of the event prior to the beginning of the event.  Once the total number of people attending the event (participants and staff) have been sent to Dave Meldrum-Green he will get the quote for liability insurance.  Dave will send back the quote to the special event coordinator to send to each individual event director for budgeting purposes. 

Event Auto Liability Insurance  (for Reliant staff)

In the case of Collegiate, each individual summer program and event are charged for the general liability insurance while the general Collegiate fund (1405) is charged for the auto liability costs (10% of our auto liability) for all Collegiate events. Each event needing auto insurance not sponsored by Collegiate will be discussed on a case by case basis to see the amount of auto liability they bring with Reliant staff traveling to the event.
