On occasion, and especially for short-term (or fixed-term) support raisers, milestones are not met by the missionary. In response to this, often churches will ask for some stronger accountability. Reliant then creates what's called a Standard of Performance (SOP) specific to the individual.
What is a Standard of Performance
An SOP is meant to add structure to the week-to-week journey with support raising for missionaries. It explicitly outlines the minimums that we expect of the missionary moving forward, instead of making goals that are suggestions. This is not a punishment but meant to help motivate and push each missionary to meet their goals and get fully funded.
