• Do not touch anything other than checking the pulse of the victim
• Notify local authorities and cooperate with any police investigation
• Determine the location and status of all other personnel
• Notify other team members in person if possible or through encrypted methods if necessary
• If contact by another party, the Team Leader must confirm the identity of the deceased personnel
• As soon as you are able, begin documenting all events. Eventually, move all documentation to the Tracking Log created by Reliant and shared with you for this incidentin the one-drive team crisis management plan folder. The Tracking log will allow you to continue to document details and will also serve as a way to communicate those new updates to all parties involved
• Contact Reliant to report the incident: Crisis Reporting for International Incident
• Reliant will reach out to receive more details and complete an Initial initial Crisis Report
• Reliant will share a Tracking Log with you to continue to document details that will also serve as a way to communicate new updates with all parties involvedReliant will work with local leaders to assign personnel to investigate the incident, establish a time frame for when the reported offense occurred, and confirm their activities leading up to the incident and locations they might have visited recently. This personnel should locate and contact any witnesses that might have observed the incident.

• Contact the coroner, ensure the body is secure and arrange for post-mortem examinations if required
• Obtain details on removing the body
• Determine the legal method to obtain a death certificate and coroner reports and begin the steps
• The Team Leader should make contact with, notify, and provide continuing care for affected team members
• Follow all CMT directions and recommendationsClose the incident with a detailed report of all events and steps taken
