**This is the exact content on our previous Travel Notification page prior to the changes due to the pandemic. At the point we change our policy/standards, we can bring this information back. For the health and safety of Reliant staff, missionaries, and those they may come in contact with throughout the course of ministry, a Travel Notification Form is to be completed by all Reliant Missionaries traveling away from their country of residence to an international location for their ministry work. Reliant needs to be able to contact you in case of an emergency in your area. Some examples of these types of travel could include:
Please complete the appropriate notification form and follow all steps within the form closely. These travel forms include a request for travel approval from your local supervisor (if applicable) and your Reliant Program Lead, emergency contact information for your destination(s), and an attestation that you agree to comply with health advisories related to COVID-19 in your destination(s) and for your return. |
Travel within the U.S.
All Reliant Missionaries traveling within the U.S. for all work/ministry-related travel, whether by car, plane, or other modes of transportation, that takes you outside of your usual ministry context (i.e., where you may travel to during your routine day-to-day duties) must obtain prior approval from Reliant. This also applies to Associate Staff traveling for any Reliant-affiliated work or ministry reason, including MTD. When planning travel, allow enough time to complete the notification process, inform the appropriate people of travel plans, and gain approvals.
International Travel
Domestic or International missionaries traveling away from their country of residence to an international location for work/ministry must obtain prior approval from Reliant.
