Most international workers receive their paycheck through a direct deposit to a U.S. bank account which is submitted via Toolbox. Reliant is also able to wire your payroll to a foreign bank account when requested.
Foreign Bank Account Reporting
If you have a personal or organization bank account in a foreign country, please be aware that you may need to report this when filing your taxes. See IRS website for up-to-date information.
How to set up a Payroll Wire:
- Complete the Global Payments Addendum to Direct Deposit Agreement (provided below) - This form serves as an addendum to the domestic direct deposit program and authorizes Reliant to wire a portion of your monthly paycheck to an International bank account. Completed forms must be received by the Reliant Payroll Team before the last business day of the month, for the change to impact the following month's pay date.
- Confirm the Test Wire - In most cases, an initial test wire of $50 will be sent by Reliant to the international bank account listed on the submitted form, to ensure the wire template is routing funds to the correct bank account. This $50 test wire amount will be deducted from the first month's payroll wire amount. Please notify payroll@reliant.org when you receive your test wire.
How Payroll Wires work:
Approximately two business days prior to the corresponding pay date of each month, following the acceptance of this agreement, Reliant Mission will wire on your behalf the specified amount of US funds requested on this form through Truist; with instructions to further credit the international bank account you have entered on this form, in the currency you have requested. Exchange rates, wire fees and any additional fees charged by the receiving bank will be the sole responsibility of the Reliant International Worker. The wire fee charged by Truist to Reliant Mission will be charged directly to the MTD account for which the Reliant International Worker is responsible.
Global Payments Addendum to Direct Deposit Agreement:
- Please call your financial institution to verify your international banking information before submitting this form. Reliant Mission will not be responsible for any mishandling of funds due to incorrect information supplied on the Global Payments Addendum to Direct Deposit Agreement.
- By submitting this form, the Reliant International Worker authorizes Reliant Mission to wire the specified amount of payroll funds through Truist Global Payments division, with foreign currency conversion and further settlement to the international bank account specified on the submitted Global Payments Addendum to Direct Deposit Agreement. Reliant Mission has no control over exchange rates provided by Truist's Global Payments wire department.
- By submitting this form, the Reliant International Worker acknowledges that they have authorized their Bank or Credit Union to accept deposits from Reliant Mission. Reliant Mission nor Truist has control over the acknowledgement or receipt of funds at your international bank.
- By submitting this form, the Reliant International Worker authorizes Reliant Mission to make adjustments to wire deposits, as necessary, in order to correct errors. This authorization will remain in effect until the Reliant International Worker provides timely written notice to Reliant Mission stating otherwise. In most cases, revisions to or terminations of this agreement must be received by the Reliant before the last business day of the month, for the change to impact the following month's paycheck wire.

Sarah Swann - Does something on this page need to change now that we are not using Bank of America? Is there a new form or process?
