If a new ministry partner desires to join Reliant without also desiring to partner with Reliant for employment services, this Non-Employment Partnership MOU would then be signed. An official document for signature will be sent via an online form. This page documents what would be included in that online form.
Non-Employment Partnership Memorandum of Understanding
About Reliant
Reliant partners with missional churches and Gospel-centered nonprofits to mobilize support-based workers for the Great Commission. Reliant is a mission agency and serves as a hub between the local churches, Reliant staff, and generous donors who support the work.
A church/ministry must sign a Memorandum of Understanding to confirm alignment in belief and to outline the responsibilities of both parties before a ministry fund may be created for ministry activities that will further Reliant's exempt purpose related to churches, projects, mission trips, and other events.
Reliant is excited to be partnering with your church/ministry to further the Great Commission. Reliant's ministry purpose for engaging in a joint ministry effort that includes the creation of a ministry fund for church/ministries, mission trips, etc. is to provide financial administration and donor services for the local church/ministry partner.
Faith Agreement for Voluntary Church/Ministry Partnership
Reliant works in ministry partnership with a number of Christian ministries and churches. In each case, Reliant expects that the local church, church network, or ministry will have its own statement of faith or method of affirming Christian belief.
Reliant chooses to partner at its own discretion with Christian churches and ministries who are "like-minded" and have compatible statements of faith. A disagreement on our Statement of Faith is part of our evaluation of the appropriateness of any partnership. Reliant may choose to request or review the statement of faith of a church or ministry that is establishing a potential ministry partnership.
Reliant does not formally sign statements of faith of other church or ministries, and churches or ministries are not expected to formally sign the Reliant statement of faith. Partnership with Reliant is voluntary for both parties and does not constitute a contract or apostolic relationship.

Approval
If any conditions stated above change for Reliant or the Local Church or Ministry, both have an ongoing obligation to inform the other party promptly.
This memorandum is not intended to and does not create any contractual rights between these parties.
This joint partnership is for those church/ministries that desire to create ministry funds in partnership with Reliant to further Reliant's exempt purpose without also partnering with Reliant for employment services. In the event that the church/ministry desires to begin partnering with Reliant for employment services, then a new Memorandum of Understanding outlining the responsibilities associated with employees/associates must be signed.
Reliant and the Local Church or Ministry have caused this Non-Employement Partner Memorandum of Understanding to be executed by their duly authorized representatives. By signing this Non-Employment Partner Memorandum of Understanding, Reliant and the Local Church or Ministry signify that each understands and will comply with the conditions stated above.
